The service provided by DiscountMyNewCar.com.au is to provide consumers with a highly competitive automated system to achieve the lowest price on their next brand new motor vehicle. It is a condition that individual consumers pay the Quote Request Fee (currently $49.00AUD) as a cost for the service provided. DiscountMyNewCar.com.au reserves the right at its discretion to run promotions from to time and charge a fee less than $49.00AUD and is in no way liable to any consumer who may have paid a higher fee than the fee charged during any promotional offer.
As a token gesture the Quote Request Fee is refundable in the event that a consumer has purchased and taken delivery of their new motor vehicle purchased from a dealer introduced by DiscountMyNewCar.com.au. It is the responsibility of the consumer to prompt the Dealer to 'flag' the consumers quote request as 'DELIVERED' in order to trigger the automatic refund of the 'Quote Request Fee'.
Consumers are entitled to a full refund when a Quote Request is submitted with the maximum distance to send quote requests selected and do not receive any responses from any dealers. In this case the full refund will occur immediately and automatically.
Businesses, Associations, Clubs & Referrers can self register to use the DiscountMyNewCar.com.au website but cannot access the site until they are qualified and approved by DiscountMyNewCar.com.au to use the site. Businesses, Associations, Clubs & Referrers agree to use this site where a genuine motor vehicle requirement exists and agree not to use the site for make or model price comparison.
In the event that a particular model has been upgraded (e.g. during the year 2010, the introduction of a Model Year 2011 has occurred then the 2010 model becomes a run out model) it is your responsibility to ensure that you are purchasing the model stated by the dealer.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the description of the new vehicle selected by you, be accurate including but not limited to the vehicles specific description (i.e. Make, Model, Series, Body, Engine, Transmission and Drive Train) vehicle colour choices, factory options, accessories genuine & non-genuine, registration type, CTP Insurance (Compulsory Third Party), Fleet Discounts where applicable and your required delivery time frame. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are confirmed correct by the dealer prior to signing a contract to purchase the new motor vehicle..
All details of the description of your trade-in vehicle including but not limited to the vehicles Year, Make, Series, Model, Body, Engine, Transmission, Drive, Condition, Build Plate, Compliance Plate and Registration expiry date must be fair and accurate to the best of your knowledge and understanding. Vehicles incorrectly described may result in a dispute with the motor vehicle dealer and as a consequence may lead to the dealer re-negotiating on the trade-in amount or on the price of the new motor vehicle or both.
